Training with projection.
As part of the "Conexões para o Futuro" project, Enel Brasil, in partnership with Senai, will train more than 200 professionals. Two classes will be exclusively for women, and 8 coed ones will total 10 classes, training more than 200 electricians who will be able to apply for different positions within Enel.
Training of the selected
The intensive program aims to address the urgent need for new professionals, as the company promised at the beginning of May this year.
All selected individuals will undergo theoretical, practical, and behavioral training from Monday to Friday. After completing the courses, professionals can participate in the selection processes at Enel outlined in the hiring plan and collaborating companies.
Enel Ceará, in partnership with Senai, has graduated 23 women from the Electrician Course in Electrical Distribution, celebrating a new step towards equal opportunities. The graduates are now prepared to apply for vacancies both in partner companies and in Enel Ceará itself.
Between 2022 and 2024, the Enel Comparte Oportunidad (Enel Shares Opportunity) project has already trained 85 women in the state. Inclusion and equity are fundamental pillars for building a fairer and more diverse labor market.
"This course is of utmost importance because, with it, I can obtain various professional and personal achievements," commented Francisca Edneiva de Soussa Vital, a former student of the program.
Recruitment plan
Enel Brasil announced the creation of 1,200 electrician jobs over the next year to strengthen teams in São Paulo, in addition to the training programs. Hiring has already begun, and the number of employees for emergencies, maintenance, and loss reduction is expected to double.
"We are working to improve the services provided to our customers increasingly. There are opportunities for professional development and job creation in the regions where we operate," said Guilherme Lencastre, president of Enel Distribuição São Paulo.
The expectation is that all these measures will directly improve the quality of the distributor's services and reduce the average customer service time throughout the concession area, which covers 24 municipalities in the Metropolitan Region of São Paulo.
