Actions to improve and modernize the network

Enel Américas is continuously implementing improvement plans in the areas of network maintenance and modernization, which have reduced the frequency and duration of service interruptions. This way, the infrastructure can be monitored online, ensuring rapid and timely intervention in the event of malfunctions.

In 2021, the Company continued to develop initiatives that had a direct impact on operational excellence, safeguarding network efficiency and ensuring supply continuity. This is reflected in the evolution of the graphs of the indicator representing the interruption time per customer over a 12-month period, the System Average Interruption Duration Index (SAIDI), and indicator of the interruption frequency over a 12-month period, the System Average Interruption Frequency Index (SAIFI), which are both published below:
