For three months Enel Américas participated in the Blue Dot Network Certification pilot project developed for the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in collaboration with the governments of the United States, Japan and Australia, which seeks to ensure the quality of infrastructure as a whole. Enel Américas, together with other companies worldwide, was part of this first pilot and among the first to complete it. The company participated in this pilot with its Lagoa dos Ventos wind farm in Brazil. This plant was selected both for its size and for the numerous sustainability activities it has carried out in recent years.
The pilot project tests whether or not the investments are sustainable and of high quality, whether or not they are open and inclusive, transparently viable, aligned with the Paris Agreement. They are also measured to be financially, environmentally and socially sustainable, and compliant with international standards, laws and regulations.

Enel Americas' participation in the Blue Dot Network pilot responds to the ongoing collaboration with the OECD's Trust in Business platform. This pilot is a multilateral effort to promote sustainable infrastructure development around the world. Its results will be used to test the tool, ensuring that it is adapted to different sectors, their stages in the life cycle of a project and that it takes into account the diversity of regions, thus being beneficial to all stakeholders.
