Wednesday afternoon, Enel Américas closed the Wall Street trading day with the traditional “Closing Bell”, celebrating its 25 years listed in the New York Stock Exchange. Enel Chile also participated in the ceremony, having being part of Enersis S.A., the company originally listed in the NYSE.
Maurizio Bezzeccheri, Enel Director for Latin America and Enel Américas general manager pointed of the importance of being present in the Closing Bell commemorating the 25 years listed in the most important stock exchange in the world: “Being here is a reason to be proud. Enel Américas has known how to position itself and to be an internationally relevant actor, growing hand in hand with sustainability. A company whose achievements are the foundations of that yet to come: the consolidation of a strategy of growth, being a leading actor in the energy transition, building the sustainable future for the region. Also, today we are celebrating the success of the first stage of the capital increase, that on Friday, July 26th, closed with 97.3%, which will allow us to continue being the leading power company in the region”, he said.
