Generation in Colombia

Enel Américas participates in electricity generation through its subsidiary Emgesa, where it controls, directly and indirectly, 48.5% of its property (economic participation) and 56.7% of political participation. Electricity generation of Enel Américas in Colombia reached 22% of the total generation in this market in 2017.

Other generators connected to the Colombian electricity system are: Empresa Pública de Medellín, Isagen, Gecelca, Celsia and Chivor.
